Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions
A player may move stones from bunkers.
1. If a ball lies next to a stone, remove the stone. If the ball moves it must be replaced.
2. If the ball lies on a stone, the ball may be marked and lifted, the stone removed, and the ball replaced as near as possible to the spot the ball originally lay, not nearer the hole.
For bunkers with casual water
The ball may be removed from casual water, cleaned and placed in the bunker at the nearest point where casual water is no longer interfering with the lie or stance, no closer to the hole with no penalty.
Ball in bunker interfered with by previous movement of water or animal damage

2. Areas in bunkers where animals have created damage, such damage is treated as ground under repair.
If your ball lies in the bunker with either of the ground under repair situations, relief is allowed. Lift, clean and place the ball within the bunker where the closest relief is possible, no nearer the hole, no penalty.
Distance measuring devices
For Naga-Waukee Men's Golf Club play at Naga-Waukee Golf Course, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.
Relief for Embedded Ball
A ball that is embedded in its own pitch mark anywhere in the general area may be lifted, without penalty, cleaned and dropped within 1 club length from a point right behind where the ball was embedded, not nearer the hole.
NMGC local rule for lift clean and place
When lift, clean and place is in effect, if your ball lies in the fairway or on the putting green fringe of the hole you are playing, you may mark your ball, clean it as needed and then place the ball as close to your mark as possible not to exceed the length of a scorecard. If your ball is not in the fairway or on the fringe, you may not lift, clean and place.
