Our club was founded in 1967 and today consists of approximately 130 members. Regular members are individuals who are less than 60 years old as of May 1. Senior members are individuals 60 and older as of May 1. The annual membership fee is determined in January for each golf season. As an example, the 2025 fee was just over $950 for regular members and around $800 for senior members who are 60 and over. The annual fee includes 18 consecutive Thursdays of golf (18 holes) starting in early May, four monthly Outings during the season, three of which are on Saturdays, event/hole prizes, hole-in-one entry, club tournaments, meeting refreshments and handicap service. On each Thursday, you can choose to tee-off between 10:00am and 2:00pm. All golf is at Nagawaukee War Memorial Golf Course. Membership fee does not include the cart fee if a cart is used.
An Executive Membership option is for individuals who are less than 60 as of May 1 and cannot commit to 18 consecutive Thursdays of golf. In 2025, the Executive Membership was just over $500. The fee allows you to participate in all club tournaments, entry into all club outings, event prizes, meeting refreshments, handicap service and attend the annual awards banquet, paying the same nominal fee as a Regular member. There are NO green fees included with the Executive Membership. You are responsible to pay the green fees on each Thursday that you play. Green fees for 4 of the 5 outings are included in your membership fee. (The 36 Hole Stroke Play event is played on 2 consecutive Thursdays during normal Mens Club play in August and you are responsible to pay the green fee)
The NMGC offers a competitive, but friendly, environment to play golf. All play is governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf. Although it is not required, you should be at least familiar with the rules of golf. Most of the tournaments and events are handicapped. A current GHIN handicap or current USGA handicap is required to be considered for membership.
