Two Man Team Results
John Krueger 2026-06-07
Team Schram takes the coveted Two Man Team trophy home: OK so no trophy, but father Dave and son Nick both shot excellent individual scores and had a total winning score of 140. I did notice that dad beat son by 1 shot, but age will always lose eventually, so beware Dave. Excellent day for golf, with light winds, mid to upper 70's and a bit softer course thanks to Friday's rain. Results are as follows.

Hole 14, Ron Stortz and Jim Lansing
Hole 16, Gene Wendt and Scott Bechtel
Observations, pace of play, last group was about 4:45. Not great but have not heard from the Boner yet.
Score cards, looking over the score cards, one stood out, for clarity, penmanship, numbers centered in the box and the variety of numbers. That is score keeper Dale Adamski.
Individual scores, Myles had 3 4's on the par 5's, but went 6, 6 on 9 and 10. J.B had a 3 on all 4 par 3's, but had 5 6's on the back nine. Dave Schram had no 6's in his round. Corey Stanislawski had 11 4's, including 3 on the par 5's. Frank Schamski and Joe Van Beck, both solid players had some trouble on 14, with a gross total of 17, net 15. Steve Morrison had 5 5's on the front and none on the back. Matt Simmons is starting to get hot, had a pair of 36's. Mike Rapp was 2 under on the par 3's until he got to 16. He ended up even for the 4 holes, however he did have 4 total natural birdies. Jim Larsen, shot 80, net 70, with a bogey, bogey finish. Tom Halla with a Ho Hum 72, with a 7 on hole 14. That's never happened before. Jim Gibbons, 40 foot bomb for a 2 on 8. Was sure that was the long putt hole, Sorry. My partner Tom Sorenson, would have been really good, but for the start of each 9, with a 7, 6 start for both.
Lots of help and extra thanks to new member Perry Schroeder, currently on injured reserve, who helped with starter duties and collection of skins money. Scorers Mike Chycinski, Pat Feldner and John Ingraham, who all went out early and stayed all day to score.
Gift cards are in pro shop now, envelopes with skins money will be by the pro shop on Wednesday.
Next outing event is member guest on Saturday July 11th.
