Directions for 36 Hole Stroke Play

The 36 hole stroke play event starts this Thursday. There are 2 rounds, with a cut after round 1. For round 1 there is no sign up, anyone playing Thursday can be in the event, however you must be playing with someone in your group who is also in the event. Exchange scorecards. Gold or White tee choice. If you advance to the 2nd round you must play the same tee and use this Thursday's handicap. Current Handicap will be in place this Thursday for the rest of the event. After the round, please sign and attest the scorecard for you and player, or players, in your group. Outing coordinator Steve Morrison and Tom Hynes will handle the scoring. Steve is out at 11 am, so the 1st hour players, (10 am to 11 am) sign and attest and leave card in the box by the score sheets. Steve will enter them when he gets in. If you can't play on the 27th, don't get into the event. Last year 18 players advanced from the gold tees, and 12 from the white tees. Outing coordinators Steve, Tom and John Krueger will determine the cut line. For reference last year winners were Jim Szymczak at 132, gold tees, and David Anderson at 139, white tees. These are 2 round net scores total. Please no gimme putts, if in event putt everything in the hole.
